Programmer's Procedure to Copy a Page  

This procedure is primarily how to copy a website page from one client's website to another client's website. For example, it could save time when copying some documentation pages to a new client's website.

This is the procedure.

1. Get a list of pages by printing a copy of the Re-publish HTML page of the source website. Cross off the pages that you don't want to copy.
2. FTP the txt files to the site folder of the destination website.
3. FTP the txt files from there to the remote site.
4. Create the htm pages in the buildable HTM list. (Pages)
5. Republish the pages.
6. Make the pages editable. (Optional)
7. Make changes to menus. (Optional)
8. Add links. (Optional)
9. Republish the pages.

This procedure is abbreviated and high level. It is documented to prompt the programmer as to the needed steps and is not intended to be a detailed step-by-step procedures.
