Administrator's Guide to the Site Map
The site map is generated from the current site contents when the site map is republished. This should be done when content pages are added to the site or page sub headings are changed. Add or change the new content pages and then republish the site map.
The site map generation feature is tied to the sitemap.htm page in the bodypart.txt configuration file. This actually provides a bit of superfluous flexibility. For consistency, name the page sitemap.htm.
The first step toward implementing the site map feature is to add the sitemap page to bodypart.txt. Add "sitemap.htm,4," to bodypart.txt on a line by itself. For more on this process, see
Administrator's Guide to the Configuration Files
The next step toward implementing the site map feature is to add sitemap.htm to the list of buildable pages. For details of this process, see
User's Procedure to Add a Web Page
The next step toward implementing the site map feature is to add Site Map to the navigation menu. For details of this process, see
Administrator's Guide to Navigation Menus
Make the txt page editable and provide a subhead, etc.
Lastly, rebuild the HTML page.
This procedure is abbreviated and high level. It is documented to prompt the programmer as to the needed steps and is not intended to be a detailed step-by-step procedures.
