Administrator's Guide to the Configuration Files
Some system maintenance involves changing the system control files. These files determine what pages may be edited by the administrator, where pages appear in the menus, etc.
The programmer may change the names of the system control files. But, in the default configuration, they are named menudata.txt, picrings.txt and bodypart.txt.
The general procedure to change any of these files is the same. This is the procedure.

Logon with administrator's privileges.

Click "Content".

Select "Configuration Files" and click "Continue".

Select the system control file and click "Edit the File".

Make changes and click "Save Changes".

Click "Re-publish HTML".

Select pages affected by the changes and click "Publish HTML".

View selected pages to confirm that you have achieved the desired effect.
To add an item to a menu, add a line to menudata.txt.
To make changes to a menus, make changes to menudata.txt.
To add a ring to the web site, add a line to picrings.txt.
To make changes to a ring, make changes to picrings.txt.
To add a "special section" to a web page, add a line to bodypart.txt.
If the system control file does not appear in the list of editable control files, add it using this procedures.

Logon with programmer's privileges.

Click "Pages".

Select "System Configuration Files Add / Remove" and click "Continue".

Make corrections on the form. The system control files, menudata.txt, etc., should be checked. All other files should be unchecked. Click "Update File List".

The procedure above should now be working as described.
If the system control file does not appear in the list of editable control files, add it using this procedures.

Logon with programmer's privileges.

Select the configuration file using Content >> Configuration Site.

If necessary, verify that you can edit menudata.txt.

You may be able to add this ability using Pages >> System Configuration Files.

Add the page to menudata.txt.

Add the page using Pages >> Editable files based on txt

Add content to the page using Content >> Site.
