Administrator's Guide to the Miscellaneous Text Files  

Some system maintenance involves creating and changing certain miscellaneous text files. These include login1.txt, login2.txt and registration.txt.

The administrator may create and change these files. The general procedure to first see if the files exist. If they do, change them. If not, first create then and then change them. Here are the related procedures.

1. Logon with administrator's privileges.
2. Click "Content".
   
3. Select "Site Content" and click "Continue".
   
4. Search for the file name in the list.
   
5. If the file exists, select it and click "Edit the File".
   
6. Make changes and click "Save Changes". Changes take place immediately.
   
7. View selected pages to confirm that you have achieved the desired effect.
   

To create a file that does not exist, follow this procedure.

If the system control file does not appear in the list of editable control files, add it using this procedures.

1. Logon with administrator's privileges.
2. Click "Pages".
   
3. Select "Add Editable Files (based on HTML files" and click "Continue".
   
4. Enter the filename of the missing miscellaneous text file. Click "Update File List".
5. The file now exist. You will be able fo find and edit the file using the first procedure above.
